The Tour KVD is a baitcaster reel for freshwater use, and is touted as being their best. This fishing reel is highly recommended for reeling in the “big fish” such as bass. It is a serious baitcaster for those who are serious about angling. This model was designed by five-time B.A.S.S. Angler of The Year, Kevin Van Dam. The Tour KV comes in three gear ratios of 7:3:1, 6:6:1 and 5:1:1.
The Unique features of this Quantum baitcasting reel are its ceramic drag system to remove heat during long periods of use, polymer-stainless hybrid PT bearings that are designed to minimize vibration and friction as well as prevent corrosion, dual PT continuous Anti-Reverse, super free spool pinion design and scratch-resistant titanium vacuum deposition finish.
Check out its lightweight carbon fiber crank handle, titanium coated line guide, MaxCast skeletal spool, one-piece aluminum frame and side cover which were machined with computer-guided precision to ensure perfect alignment, quick-release side cover and ACS3 self-adjusting centrifugal cast control to let you make long casts even in the heaviest winds, without having to worry about backlashes.
