Missouri-based Ardent reels makes all its products in the United States. They specialize in fishing reels and fishing reel accessories, which they make by hand in their Macon, Missouri factory. Although Ardent is a fairly new brand, they have already been making waves among anglers and the fishing reel industry. One of the most poplular Ardent fishing reels is the Ardent F500 Flip-N-Pitch Reel which is specifically designed for pitching. It has a ceramic line eye and narrow spool that reduces line friction. The C400 retails for one hundred and sixty-nine dollars.
